Trainee Notary

We are looking for a bright and motivated Law graduate preferably CPE or GDL qualified or part-qualified to join us as a trainee notary. Due to the international nature of our work, the candidate must also be a skilled linguist, with ability in two languages besides fluent English, at least one of which should be a modern European language. Qualification as a general notary can be achieved in two years, but the length of training will depend on existing qualifications. Trainees are expected to go on to qualify as Scrivener notaries.

Duties include the preparation of legal documents in English and foreign languages and the management of transactions. Study leave is given for the necessary legal and language notarial examinations and training includes a period spent working in a notary's office abroad. Financial assistance is given for academic courses. The successful candidate will be able to work under pressure and as part of a team.
