8. What supporting documentation is required?

Where an individual is signing a document and we do not have details of the individual and of his or her signature in our records, we will need to see proof of that individual's personal identity (see FAQ 7). Where that person is signing a document on behalf of an organization, we will also need to see evidence of both the individual's capacity to sign on behalf of that organization and of the organization's existence, unless we already hold this evidence in our files.
